Wonderful, Fabulous, All this for US, Beautiful, Different, Inspiring, The food was GREAT, when is the next one, The DJ even played our kind of music, and just plain WOW!!!  Are just a few of the words I heard on Saturday from the young people that attended the event with me.  Including the two makeovers Desiree Houston, and Jeraeia Stanley, who were totally surprised at being chosen  for the beauty makeover.  Marcus, Michael, and Marvin are marking the calendar for next year’s event.  

I just want to thank you again for giving our foster child, and our own children a chance to see they are beautiful, inside and out.  Inspiring them to look forward in life and not just settle.  That we care as parents, as neighbors, and as a community.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU AGAIN, for allowing me to be a part of this event, as I told you in our first conversation this means a lot to me, growing up in a home where all my life my parents did foster care. Giving back to the community is what we do, it’s just who we are and what I do.  I LOVED every bit of that event. 

As far as vending for Tracilynn that was just extra, be I thank you for the opportunity, it opened new doors for me, and allowed me to network!

I can’t wait until the next event!
